Well, that’s pretty much the post. Coming to the beginning, we started from Andheri West, Mumbai, took the NH8 (Western Express Highway) to Manor – Wada – Suryamal – Vihigaon – Khodala – Igatpuri and back by the NH3.
Most of the drive is through a picturesque route, almost without any place to stop and snack. But plenty of tribal villages, a small chai tapri here and there, and beautiful forests ensure you don’t get bored. Get this drive done before we lose this forest. I was depressed to see the entire Khodala hills cut bare naked and all remaining trees lopped.
This is a short drive and can easily be done in a day. Carry snacks with you.
